The Yarn Presents True Love Stories (III of III)

"Love. Above all things I believe in love. Love is like oxygen. Love is a many splendored thing. Love lifts us up where we belong. All you need is love." - Christian, Moulin Rouge.

For the Yarn’s second collaboration this season with South on Main, storytellers will share from the heart. The February 19th production explores the most potent of emotions, love, as it collides with family, big dreams, disappointment, and scandal. Anything but cliché, this show puts love on display as it happens in real life.

Amy Bell, co-owner and creative director at South on Main, cites the restaurant’s atmosphere as the inspiration for the show, as it offers one of the best places to see love in all its forms. She says, “Running a restaurant, I see people’s love connections in so many ways - first dates, proposals, weddings, anniversaries. I think real love is so much more exciting and magical than the manufactured stories we read in books and see in movies.”
